In the realm of weird stuff, Nanda Home makes a really bizarre, but kinda cool, alarm clock / sick toy.

Clocky, the robot Alarm Clock is the hi tech solution for people who have a really hard time waking up and getting out of bed. You know, the ones that tend to just shut off the alarm and go back to sleep.

Clocky is not an ordinary, stand there and beep type of clock. Clocky has wheels and the ability to jump off your night stand and roll around your room.

The manufacturer has this description of Clocky:

The patented alarm clock that runs away and hides to get you out of bed. Clocky gives you one chance to get up. But if you snooze, Clocky will jump off your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide, beeping all the while. You’ll have to get out of bed to silence his alarm. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time.

Definitely a cool idea, too bad I can’t see these lasting long since by the time you catch the thing, you may be inclined to throw it out a window and silence Clocky for good.

Clocky runs on 4 AAA batteries, comes in 2 different colors and retails for around 50 bucks. Lumens has one for 49.99

Another addition to my useless gadgets list is the maybe.. cool, e T-shirt. This black cotton T comes with its own battery pack and a neon light display for your chest. The led display t-shirt comes from a Chinese manufacturer and is called the TQ Raver. The Raver is supposed to “enhance” your clubbing experience by making you the envy of every club-goer in town by having your own graphic equalizer display right across your body.

The TQ Raver is now improved with streamlined design and advanced technology to enhance your clubbing experience even further. The technology has been visibly refined with an even lighter thinner display, brighter colours and more responsive graphic equaliser.

Each musical frequency detected activates a different coloured equaliser bar, just like the equalisers on home stereos and the latest digital recording equipment. The built-in controller can be intuitively adjusted to respond to chilled out low level sound or the heaviest loudest metal and house that you can stand.

The radio toaster… come on how, who doesn’t want to listen to a few cool tunes for the 2 mins it takes to make toast.

The Delonghi toaster/radio seems a bit pricey at around 50 bucks, but hey, you do kill two birds with one stone on this. It is a toaster with a Kenwood FM radio. The downside of this crazy kitchen gadget is that bread crumbs and radio technology… small knobs and all, never really seem to work well together. Not only will you have to clean crumbs out of the tray, but your speakers as well.

If you want to make a cup of coffe and defend against anciant warlords at the same time, we have a perfect solution. The spikey, ball of death coffee maker. If they complain about your coffe, just whack em one.

Mindbogglingly it may be, but this silly kitchen gadget from Asia is the Automatic robot pancake flipper.

Yes, who would have ever thunk it.
